Designing application based smart glasses
PMSG are lightweight smart glasses that use BLE (and optional LoRa) to deliver subtle visual or vibration alerts from your phone or sensors. No screens, no noise — just simple ambient cues you can tune for navigation, notifications, or maker projects. Built for engineers, tinkerers, and anyone who loves practical open hardware.
Depending on participants’ interests, the workshop will include board development, flashing the glasses, and connecting them to the Meshtastic app. Finally, there will be a conversation about its applications and how it can be used for creating scalable smart wearable tech.
Hosts

Paul Stefaan Mooij is a rapid prototyper with deep experience in smart retail, RFID systems, and unmanned tech. He focuses on low-cost, buildable solutions and creates tools that help other engineers bring ideas to life.

Mannan Gupta is a key part of the PMSG team. With a strong background in electronics, embedded systems, and product integration, he brings sharp technical thinking and hands-on problem-solving. He’s also connected to Without, making him a bridge between hardware, design, production and operations
