About the Workshop
In this workshop, we’ll leverage the Dreams and Disruptions foresight game cards developed by by Center for Engaged Foresight alongside a conceptualization toolkit to ignite diverse and thought-provoking future scenarios centered around Generative AI.
By blending drivers of change with potential disruptions, participants will collaboratively craft future contexts that challenge conventional thinking. These scenarios will inspire the creation of generative things—concepts, artifacts, or systems envisioned for these speculative worlds. Participants will then explore these ideas through various roles, examining relationships, conflicting interests, and ethical implications.
Hosts
Sen Lin is a designer and researcher keen on design reflection and value intervention. Possessing a diverse background in strategic design, design speculation and innovation consulting, he is passionate about creating socio-technical apparatuses following his importance felt.
Sen used to lead trend-driven innovation and design foresight at Thoughtworks China, uncovering strategic pivots to future-proof businesses. He is also a member of the production team for the Chinese edition of Dreams and Disruptions.
